How to make a perfect Omelette

Omelets are my favorite breakfast dish. How can you make them perfectly? I've tried many recipes and different methods but none have worked. So today, I want to share some tips and tricks with you so you can make your own delicious and fluffy omelets every morning.

We should first know that eggs are very temperamental ingredients when making omelets. It is important that eggs are fresh from an organic market and kept cool until used. You must keep them cool enough to allow the whites to form properly and the yolks to become too runny if they're not kept at the right temperature. This can make your omelets look bizarrely colored. If you want to make omelets right away, it's best not to use eggs that are too cold.

You might also try separating the egg before adding to the pan. You don't want any white to get mixed up with the yolk because this could cause the omelet to curdle.

You might burn the bottom of the egg if you place the egg directly on the stovetop. This could ruin the texture of your omelet. Instead, microwave the egg for 10 seconds before adding it to the pan. The microwave heat will cook the egg just right without making it too hot.

Let's now talk about mixing eggs. When you mix eggs together, you want to beat them well. You need to turn the bowl of the mixer upside down. Then, vigorously shake the bowl. By doing this, the egg is thoroughly mixed with the air in the bowl.

Now comes the fun part: adding the milk to your mixture. Mix half of the milk with the eggs. Then fold the eggs in half into the remaining milk. If you still see streaks of eggs, don't worry. These streaks will disappear once the omelet has been turned over.

After folding the eggs fold the pan onto medium heat. When the oil starts to hot, wait for the pan to cook. When the oil is hot enough, add 1/4 cup butter to the pan. Stir it around until the butter covers the entire pan. Now carefully crack open the lid of the pan and sprinkle salt into the pan. Salt will prevent the omelet sticking to the pan.

Cover the pan once the omelet is formed and allow it to cool completely. Flip the omelet by using a spatula. Cook the other half for another minute. Serve the omelet immediately by removing it from the pan.

This recipe works best with whole milk, but skimmed milk also works.
