How to make an omelet that is perfect

Omelets is one of my favourite breakfast foods. But how do you make them perfectly? Many different recipes and methods have failed to work for me. So I wanted to share some tips and tricks so that you can make delicious, fluffy omelets every morn.

When making omelets, it is important to be aware that eggs can be temperamental. Eggs must be purchased fresh, preferably organic, and kept chilled until ready for cooking. If they are not kept cold enough, the whites won’t form properly. The yolks will also break down too quickly and become runny. This causes your omelets to look oddly colored. It is best to use room-temperature eggs if you are going to cook them right away.

You might also try separating the egg before adding to the pan. The yolk and white should not be mixed together as this can cause the omelet's curdle.

You might burn the bottom of the egg if you place the egg directly on the stovetop. This could ruin the texture of your omelet. Instead, heat the egg for 10 seconds in the microwave before placing it in the pan. The microwave heat cooks the eggs just right without overcooking them.

Next, let's talk about mixing the eggs. When mixing eggs, it is important to thoroughly beat them. You can do this by turning the bowl of your mixer upside down. Next, shake the bowl vigorously. The egg will be thoroughly mixed in the bowl as the air is whipped.

This recipe is best when used with whole milk. But, you can use skimmed milk as well.
