The Food Agency defines cooking skills as a set of knowledge, skills, and practices that facilitate a nutritious diet. While this framework recognizes the importance of healthy eating habits, it also acknowledges that many obstacles can be found in the environment. It focuses on developing food skills by identifying the most appropriate measures. These measures must be simple to understand, should relate to other domains and can be applied across a broad range of sociodemographic levels. These four categories were created to address the most pressing issues in food skills.

Whipping cream

Whipping cream can be used to decorate cakes and other desserts. Although it's simple to make, there are a few things you should keep in mind when making this classic dessert. Although it may look like slightly melted Ice Cream, it's not. Whipping cream should not be stiff and sloppy. It should form a soft, fluffy, curled peak that sticks well to the whisk. You can also whip the cream softly with a spoon. This will ensure that it does not lose its shape.

How To

How to make a perfect Omelette

Omelets is one of my favourite breakfast foods. But how do you create them perfectly? There are many recipes and methods I tried, but none worked. Today, I'd like to share some tips with you in order to make delicious and fluffy omelets every day.

Before we start making omelets, let's remember that eggs are temperamental. The eggs must be fresh from an organic source and kept at room temperature until they are ready to be cooked. If they are not kept cold enough, the whites won’t form properly. The yolks will also break down too quickly and become runny. This causes your omelets to look oddly colored. If you intend to cook your eggs immediately, it's best to use room-temperature egg.

You might also try separating the egg before adding to the pan. You don't want any white to get mixed up with the yolk because this could cause the omelet to curdle.

You might burn the bottom of the egg if you place the egg directly on the stovetop. This could ruin the texture of your omelet. Instead, heat the egg in a microwave for 10 seconds and then place it in a pan. The microwave heat cooks the eggs just right without overcooking them.

Next, let us talk about how to mix the eggs. Mixing eggs together is important. You need to beat them well. To do this, grab the bowl of the mixer and turn it upside down. Next, shake the bowl vigorously. This will whip the air around the bowl and mix the egg well.

Now it's time to have fun: pour the milk into the mixture. Mix half of the milk with the eggs. Then fold the eggs in half into the remaining milk. If you still see streaks of eggs, don't worry. These streaks will disappear once the omelet has been turned over.

After you have folded your eggs, heat up the oil on medium heat. Wait for it to get hot. Once the oil starts getting hot, add 1/4 cup of butter to the pan and swirl it around to coat the entire surface of the pan. Next, carefully open the lid and sprinkle salt into your pan. Salt will prevent the omelet sticking to the pan.

Once the omelet has formed, cover the pan again and wait for the top side to set completely. Flip the omelet by using a spatula. Cook the other side for another minute or two. Take out the omelet and place it in a bowl.

This recipe works best using whole milk. Skimmed milk is also possible.
